Never Cry Alone

When Jesus is being crucified on Calvary, He cries, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken Me?” In that statement you can hear the brokenness of His heart. In the Book of Luke, third and fourth chapter, we find that He was filled with the Spirit; He was led by the Spirit. Everything that Jesus did, He did by the Spirit.
Every single one of us, if we live right in Christ Jesus, are going to have to endure times, when we wonder, ‘God, where are you?’ How do I know that my complaint is not a complaint against God, but one that is instead orchestrated by God; inspired by God; breathed by God; drawn out by God, because it’s marshalled by God. It’s funneled by God, so that it flows a certain way.
We know that the Holy Spirit is inspiring our cry when we can say ‘Nevertheless, not my will, but thine be done. As long as I allow the tears to be Spirit-led – the key is to never cry alone.
