July 9, 2006 – Overcoming Disappointment – Neil & Noline RhodesWhen disappointment takes root in our hearts we will begin to have false expectations in our relationships. Selfishness can cause us to focus on the failure of others as opposed to dealing with our own hearts. The Holy Spirit will come and shift our focus on the necessity to forgive. Forgiveness softens our hearts and leads us into restoration. God is calling us to lay down the weapon of unforgiveness so we can begin a healing process in couples who are diappointed in their marriages.
