Embracing the Cross

March 8, 2009 – Many times we get into a church setting and begin to be excited about Jesus only to find that zeal is not enough if we don’t embrace the cross. Our desire for power, our longing for paradise and our proximity with Christ is not enough if we don’t embrace the cross. We must understand first that Jesus went to the cross so we can embrace the cross. When we choose to identify with what Christ did on Calvary we will abandon our old life and fully embrace the Cross.
