Can Christians be ambitious in a way that is pleasing to God, or is all ambition purely selfish? This teaching draws a contrast between Self and Godly ambition. Selfish ambition seeks to please men, puts self before others and takes advantage of others. People with a godly ambition, seek to glorify Christ and they have a consuming concern to live a life that’s beneficial to others.
