Enter Into His Rest

December 27, 2009 – As we enter into the new year we will further enter into the promises of God. We must make sure as Christians that we don’t fail to enter into His rest. There is a way that we can enter into the promises of God and yet never enter into His rest. This happens when we don’t mingle the promises with faith. God already promised to do what He said He would do. We enter into the promises whether we like it or not. The question is, “are we going to enter into His rest”? Rest is not a form of being oblivious to what is happening around us. Rest is being in a place that asks the important questions from a place of trust, but is also willing to not have a question answered. When we trust in God’s character we can be sure everything God does and everything God allows is for our good. When we trust this we can rest in the bosom of the Lord!
