God's Purpose for Loneliness

By Teresa Conlon

September 14, 2008

September 14, 2008 – It has been said that from birth to death the human soul is basically lonely. There are random interruptions when we are not lonely. Aloneness is critical to a believer because during these seasons we are bound to our master. It is God’s design that we would find Him in solitary places. In these places we have the privilege of lifting up our heart to the friend that sticks closest to us and begin to worship Him. When we are in places of loneliness the Spirit of God will quicken us and begin to speak about His plan for our lives. Turn it off, click it off, and get alone with God.
