How Mercy Strengthens Grace

By William Carrol

August 13, 2017

In this teaching, Pastor William draws a correlation between the idea of mercy and grace. Mercy is more focused on the idea of forgiveness and suggests that we treat each other in a way that correlates to the scripture that encourages those who are strong to bear with the infirmities of those who are weak. When we choose to immerse ourselves in the needs of others, God gives us a spiritual buoyancy, He lifts us up in ways that we could never experience if we did not choose to be merciful. It’s a kind of grace that comes from choosing to show mercy.
