How To Love Your Neighbor

By Nik Godshall

Our culture is increasingly distancing itself from the true nature of love. We as the Church are repeatedly commanded to love others to show we belong to Christ, but how do we fulfill this critical command? Our love must be confronted when it is lacking. Our love must overcome our assumptions and be marked by mercy. Jesus is our example of how we should love one another. We are to follow His example by seeing all humans as valuable. In such a cold, loveless world the Church may be the only place left on earth to show others what God’s love look like.
