I'm Hurt, So What Do I Do Now?

C.S. Lewis once said, “forgiveness is a lovely idea until you have to forgive someone.” When we choose to forgive we are not changing the past, we are changing the future. Any hurt that is left undealt with will morph into bitterness. Keep fervent in your love for God and for others so it will be easier to either cover an offense or confront the person with a heart for resolve. It’s always more rewarding to resolve a relationship then to dissolve one.
