Pray like This

January 29, 2007 – God is not interested in the length or the volume of our prayers. Our Father in heaven desires us to understand WHO we are praying to. When we pray we begin by petitioning our Father who is the perfect parent, who has wisdom, answers and is above every situation we will ever go through. The center of our prayer is “Thy kingdom come” into my heart, mind and circumstance. We ask for daily bread and forgiveness. Laying down our rights and any type of grievances we have in our heart. Real prayer is dealing with grievances and forgiveness until we have a clear spirit. Most of all, our Father desires us to ask Him for the Holy Spirit. Do you pray like this?
