Praying in Hope for a Hopeless World

April 3, 2011 – We are called to give hope to the hopeless and give life to those around us who are dying. How do we maintain a desire to pray for the nations and our city when we look at what’s been going on in the world today? Whenever we enter into intercession we do not initiate it or move God’s heart. If we are interceding at all it’s because God’s heart has already been moved and He is drawing us into His burden. He simply calls us to enter into communion and friendship with Him so we can share His burden for the lost. First we get God’s burden, then we partake of His caring heart.
