August 7, 2001 – God is calling us to understand new covenant relationship without becoming licentious or legalistic. This message reminds us to embrace our covenant relationship with God so that we don’t get so “grace-heavy” that we forget to be a moral people. It is important for us to recognize that in new covenant relationship there is a wonderful balance of grace and justice, of rejoicing and trembling. In order for us to truly enjoy grace and embrace grace we have to do it with godly fear. We have been given liberty in Christ. Take time to stay in God’s presence and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the glorious truth of the new covenant.
