The humble in heart seek God in their painful circumstances and ask the Lord what He is getting at. In conflict great power is given to us when we are the first to humble our selves and seek peace with another. We don’t avenge ourselves by our own hand, but rather trust in the Lord’s faithfulness. The Lord will fill us with wisdom and power to resolve these situations. We must cry out to the Lord to work in us this kind of humility. A humble heart knows patience and mercy and is easily entreated. There is no spiritual authority without humbleness of heart.
