April 4, 2008 – If temptation has discontent at its foundation, then thanksgiving is an indispensible weapon against it. Temptation cannot stand in the face of thanksgiving. We must remind ourselves that it was in paradise that the devil first tempted Adam and Eve. Their defense should have been a wall of heartfelt gratitude. Their offense should have been a hail of godly praise.
