The Greatest Blessing of All

By William Carrol

November 14, 2010

November 14, 2010 – We are all called to take up our cross and follow Jesus. There are times and seasons when Jesus will ask us to take up an unexpected burden which is greater than anything we’ve ever experienced. He will ask us to minster to those people around us that we really don’t want to be nice to; people who cause pain and hardship and people on our job who are indifferent to us and treat us spitefully. We have to remind ourselves when we embrace Jesus’ burden we embrace His faithfulness. God will empower us to love the loveless. When we choose to love those who we think don’t deserve it, that is the greatest blessing of all.
