The Surest Way Through the Darkest Night

May 19, 2009 – What is our chief motivation for thanksgiving? The Bible says on the night Jesus was betrayed He gave thanks. Jesus understood the inimitable privilege of serving His Father and laying down His life for others. Because the Holy Spirit lives in us we can have the same attitude as Jesus. When we decide to give God thanks in our dark trials we will not be overwhelmed and we will become a light in the darkness. Having an attitude of gratitude no matter what the situation blesses the heart of God and witnesses that Jesus Christ died for us and He is coming back to save us!
