February 26, 2006 – The Valley of Trouble and the Pile of Stones – Carter ConlonA perishing society is a covetous society whose trust is in what their eyes can see and their hands can touch. The pursuit of both God and wealth will bring sin into the church and weakness will overtake us. We must get up out of compromise and open the Word of God and ask the Holy Spirit to show us the sin that is buried in our heart. We are called to be separated from the pursuits of the world unto the Glory of God. God through His word will bring us out of the valley of trouble and bring us into a place of hope through Jesus Christ.
