January 4, 2009 – The fear of God causes us to draw near to Him in awe of who He is and what He is calling us to do. The fear of the Lord says draw me unto you because we are sinful and we recognize we can’t do what He has called us to do in our own strength. The fear of the Lord also recognizes that what He calls us to do will be accomplished by His power within us. We cannot serve man unless we walk in the fear of the Lord. Jesus wants to use us supernaturally and dramatically. Let us walk in godly fear and serve our fellow man.
