Jesus recognizes when our heart is in pain. When we have an encounter with Jesus, He doesn’t dwell on the issues of our past, He offers deliverance and a new future. When you bring your shame and your sins to Jesus He washes away our wounds. The gift of God is not a book or a religion, the gift of God is Jesus Christ.
