There is a Lad Here

Jesus will test your faith and confront you with a question: How do we reach this multitude here in New York City? He wants to invite you to join Him in what He is doing and He wants to use your talents. He tested one of His disciples by asking him where they could buy bread to feed a huge crowd. Another disciple said, “there is a lad who has 5 barley loaves and 2 small fishes.” People may have considered this insignificant but this is exactly what Jesus wanted to use to feed the crowd – (what seemed insignificant). Sometimes we consider the gifts and talents we have as insufficient – we hear people praying or serving God and we try to measure ourselves but we shrink back because we feel we don’t measure up. But many of us have what God needs to feed a multitude.
