One of the privileges of being a part of the body of Christ is the joy of seeing Christ through the eyes of others. When those eyes are being supernaturally directed by God, so that the perspective is God-breathed, how much greater the privilege? The gospel of John provides us with an inspired vantage point from which to view the Savior in all of His radiant beauty. And if the entire gospel is a wide angle lens, depicting the multifaceted aspects of His glory; the first chapter is a portrait, bringing us into intimate contact with the depths and dimensions of the Christ.
